The Inpatient is a horror game with psychological elements. It places you in the role of a patient with amnesia and is set in the Blackwood Sanatorium, over 60 years prior to the award-winning Until Dawn.

Anyone familiar with Until Dawn will recognise the imposing sanatorium. But this time you’ll see everything as it was during its 1950s heyday.

The Inpatient begins with you being questioned by Jefferson Bragg, the mysterious owner of the sanatorium. He claims he’s trying to help you, but should you believe him?

This is the beginning of your disturbing journey, as you play on to discover who you are and start to piece together why you are in the Blackwood Sanatorium. Over the course of the game you’ll meet a variety of interesting patients and staff, each with their own motivations and agendas.

How you react to these characters and the choices you make will have profound and dramatic consequences to how the story unfolds.

Set 60 years before the nerve-shredding events of PS4 smash hit Until Dawn, you awaken in a strange medical facility, with no memory. Feel every spine-tingling moment as PS VR puts you in the heart of the horror with a full body model showing your legs, arms and hands on-screen – while innovative voice controls means your character says what you want.

THE INPATIENT HAS A  PEGI 18 RATING

THE INPATIENT HAS HAD MIXED REVIEWS, O.K. WE ACCEPT THAT ITS NOT A VERY LONG GAME, BUT IN OUR OPINION THAT IS REFLECTED IN THE PRICE. AS FOR SCARY, WELL THATS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL BUT WE FOUND IT CREEPY FUN. IT DOES HAVE SOME UNIQUE POINTS, BUT THE CONTROLS COULD BE BETTER
